Sanderson Centre Foundation 

After the purchase of the Capitol Theatre by the City of Brantford, a group of citizens (the Brantford Heritage Theatre Foundation) spearheaded a highly successful fundraising campaign for the restoration and renovation of the theatre.  Following the renaming of the theatre, the Brantford Heritage Foundation became the Sanderson Centre Foundation committed to continuing the work of the original group of dedicated citizens.

Mandate

The Sanderson Centre Foundation is an independent charitable corporation dedicated to the enhancement of the Sanderson Centre and the theatre experience of its patrons. The Foundation’s goals are achieved primarily through fundraising for capital improvements that may not be funded by other means.

The Foundation Board of Directors shall approve and undertake projects for the benefit of the Sanderson Centre after consultation with members of the Sanderson Centre staff and the Sanderson Centre Management Board.

Ongoing Campaign

“Sittin’ Pretty at the Sanderson” seat campaign is a unique way to make a permanent record of your support of the Sanderson Centre.  A donation of $ 500. will be recognized by the placing of a plaque on a seat in your name or in honour of another.  This campaign is to raise funds to cover the cost of the new seats and to fund ongoing capital projects.
