Proud to be Seneca of Six Nations Territory, and roots also tied to my Ojibway relatives in Alderville First Nation, I invite you to come and celebrate the strength, resilience, and passion of Indigenous roots! Experience the unique sound of culture based music that is influenced by Blues, Jazz, and traditional hand drum songs, fused to create what we call RezJazz! Instrumentation includes, the hand drum, rattle, rainstick, Congas, guitar, and dobro, backed with trio backup vocals. 

Hear the stories behind the songs, engage in drum songs, and be prepared to be inspired, to feel good, and to leave with a revitalized vibrant energy!  Get Your Smile On, Come celebrate and Let the Eagle Fly!!

Ruth: A Musical Drama by Ronald Beckett performed by Arcady

For one night only, the beautiful musical drama Ruth will be presented by acclaimed performing company Arcady. Ruth is a moving story of immigration and welcoming others into your homeland. The drama follows the life of Ruth, an independent, strong, and hopeful woman as she searches for a better life for herself and her people. Ruth was written in 1996 by Ronald Beckett to the words of Brantford librettist Roger Bayley. This special production will feature talented international emerging artists chosen from around the world. The international cast will be supported by Arcady’s professional chorus, orchestra, and Academy of Ballet Classique.
