Brant Theatre Workshops presents The Art of War, a new script written by Peter Muir, bringing to life the early years of Brantford’s Lawren Harris. During World War 1, Canada’s artists were forged by the crucible of war. Interweaving Lawren’s original poetry with characters such as the irascible Tom Thomson and Canadian war hero, A.Y. Jackson, the story follows Lawren’s personal journey that led to the first showing of the Group of Seven.
