The Fugitives is a Vancouver-based indie folk collective who have been nominated for multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards. Their last record, "Everything Will Happen" was nominated for Best Roots Album at the Western Canadian Music Awards. Known for a distinct modern folk sound with an emphasis on harmony and storytelling, their live shows have brought them to twelve countries, including opening tours for Buffy Sainte-Marie and Dan Bern, and a slot at the UK's biggest music festival, Glastonbury. Their latest record is "The Promise of Strangers".

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest is a dark comedy set in the ward of a mental hospital.  It tells the story of new admission Randle McMurphy who fakes insanity to avoid prison.  He clashes with the cruel and oppressive Nurse Ratched. It is a power struggle which affects the lives of  patients and staff as McMurphy rebels and Ratched attempts to thwart the uprising.  Directed by Catherine Camp-Paynter and Susan Dignan. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
