Final play in trilogy finds healing from World War 1 Trauma

As a reporter at the Brantford Expositor, Vincent Ball has been often called to write about our veterans. The material affected him deeply and wanting to put that feeling into a creative work he began a trilogy of plays. In this production, the third and final play of his World War 1 trilogy, he examines the remnants of the Great War, as seen through the eyes of two women, one from Six Nations, the other from Brantford who are left behind to put together the pieces and find healing. Surprisingly, they find peace from the war and discover truth and reconciliation in their common experience.

The play is produced by Brant Theatre Workshops, directed by Peter Muir and designed by Gerry Lafleur. It features Cheyenne Williams and Ashley Lickers as Anna Mae, Andrew Hill as Arn, Brandy Goodnough as Martha and Nick King as Mac.

The cast of 18 moves from a grave site in Brantford to the battlefield of Hill 70 in France to a community hall in Ohsweken as the two women try to understand their shared experiences and find healing.
